Likes both direct sunlight and shady spots, but from experience, I can say that the more sun, the lighter the leaves, and the darker the place, the darker the leaves become accordingly. I water once a week, but it will endure if I sometimes forget 😅 The leaves themselves structurally resemble the wax flower (hoya) 🌸
