For a special gift to someone who appreciates design humor, authentic origin, and items with a story. Office Culture - reflects an ironic yet very accurate reference to British "Tea break" culture as a social phenomenon. This is an item that attracts attention and sparks conversations, both as a design object and as a document of British culture from the late 20th century.
The teapot was created as an official Tea Council commission, with the design developed at the South West Ceramics design studio
(in-house). Such collections were not mass-produced and were not intended as souvenirs; some of these items were actually used as teapots rather than kept behind glass, so nowadays, examples in good condition are increasingly rare.
Vintage condition appropriate to age, with no cracks or repairs;
