The 2012 Bible translation (medium size, references to parallel Scripture passages, explanatory introduction on the revision, two-color layout, chapter headings, historical-geographical maps). Layout with separated verses and indexes. The revision of the 2012 Bible translation was carried out by a commission consisting of representatives from Christian denominations, independent congregations, and the State Language Center. The revision process took place from 2017 to 2024. The publication corrected personal names and place names to ensure accurate foreign language rendering in Latvian, as well as other theological and literary improvements following the recommendations of both editors and readers.
